Wenche Lyche
Since 1997, Wenche has managed her own company in Oslo, Studio W, recognized for tailor-made exclusive evening and bridal wear for numerous well-known persons in Norway. Her style and her design are often looked upon as classical and colourful with elegant cuts and lines and of course - details to fall in love with.
She only works with natural fibres such as silk, wool, fur, feathers and for jewellery; pearls, silver and diamonds.
Wenche is mostly famous for having designed for the Princess of Norway, Princess Martha Louise, from 2000-2004. She was honoured with the mission of creating the wedding dress for the Princess in 2002.
Moreover Wenche has held national and international exhibitions during her career. In 2005 she participated with a colourful fur coat in the exhibition ”5 crossing Borders” at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Wenche is recently taking part in the prestigious exhibition ”Scandinavian Design Beyond The Myth”with a jacket made only of zippers.The exhibition has travelled in Europe since 2003, these days in Zagreb.
